Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026 · ProfitSkillsAI Academy Inc.
These Terms of Service (« Terms ») govern your use of the website profitskillsai.life and all skills workshops, training programmes, and related services offered by ProfitSkillsAI Academy Inc. (« ProfitSkillsAI », « we », « us », or « our »), a British Columbia corporation with registered office at 1630 Pandosy Street, Suite 200, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P7. By enrolling in a programme, booking a workshop, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Nature of services
ProfitSkillsAI provides professional skills education focused on AI-assisted workflows for billable work. Our offerings include structured programmes (PSA-001 through PSA-006), live skills workshops, weekend intensives, corporate team training, skills review sessions, and mentoring packages. We teach practical competence — scoped prompts, client communication, output quality, speed-to-value mapping, and pricing dialogue. We are not life coaches, therapists, wellness advisers, investment dealers, financial planners, or employment placement agencies.
Brand clarification: In our branding, « profit » refers to skill outcomes and professional competence oriented toward income-generating work — not guaranteed financial profit. The .life domain extension is a branding choice only.
2. No guarantees
We do not guarantee income, revenue, employment, business growth, client acquisition, or any specific professional outcome. Skill transfer depends on your prior experience, practice effort, market conditions, and business decisions beyond our control. Programme descriptions, facilitator examples, and participant references are illustrative and do not represent typical results.
Income outcome disclaimer: Our courses teach skills for working with AI in ways that may support income growth. We do not guarantee any specific earnings, client volume, employment, or business results. Outcomes depend on effort, experience, market demand, pricing, and factors beyond our control. Examples are illustrative only.
3. Enrolment and eligibility
Services are intended for adults engaged in professional work. By enrolling, you confirm you are at least eighteen years of age and have authority to bind yourself or the organisation you represent. Corporate enrolments require a designated contact with authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of the organisation. We reserve the right to decline enrolment where a prospective learner's goals are incompatible with our skills-focused mandate — for example, requests for life coaching, investment advice, or guaranteed income schemes.
4. Fees and payment
Programme and service fees are quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable GST/HST will be added where required. Payment terms are specified at enrolment confirmation. We accept payment methods disclosed during the booking process. Failure to pay by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of your workshop seat without refund of any partial payment already applied to administrative costs.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation more than fourteen calendar days before a scheduled workshop start date receives a full refund minus a CAD $35 administrative fee. Cancellation between seven and fourteen days receives a fifty percent credit toward a future cohort within twelve months. Cancellation less than seven days before start, or non-attendance, receives no refund unless we cancel the session. If ProfitSkillsAI cancels a workshop, you receive a full refund or transfer to an alternate date at your choice. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds are not available based on dissatisfaction with skill outcomes.
6. Workshop conduct
Learners are expected to participate respectfully, arrive prepared with required equipment (typically a laptop and note-taking materials), and follow facilitator instructions regarding exercise scope. Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or submission of unlawful content during exercises may result in removal without refund. You are responsible for ensuring workshop exercise content you submit does not violate client confidentiality, employment agreements, or third-party intellectual property rights unless you have obtained necessary permissions.
7. Intellectual property
Workshop curricula, handouts, checklists, and website content are owned by ProfitSkillsAI Academy Inc. or its licensors. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own professional development. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially resell our materials without written permission. Capstone portfolio work you create remains your property. By presenting in a capstone session, you grant us permission to reference anonymised workflow improvements in internal facilitator training unless you opt out in writing before the session.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by British Columbia law, ProfitSkillsAI Academy Inc., its directors, employees, and facilitators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or client relationship damage. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific enrolment shall not exceed the fees paid for that enrolment. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation in British Columbia.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProfitSkillsAI Academy Inc. from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your submission of client-confidential or proprietary material during workshops without appropriate authorization.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our services, you acknowledge you have read and understood our privacy practices under PIPEDA.
11. Communications
We may send service-related communications — schedule confirmations, venue directions, pre-workshop materials — without separate marketing consent. Promotional emails about future cohorts require CASL-compliant express consent and include unsubscribe options. You may contact us at [email protected] during business hours, Monday through Friday, 09:00–17:00 Pacific Time.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting [email protected]. British Columbia residents may also contact Consumer Protection BC. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of British Columbia in Kelowna, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services or legal requirements. Material changes affecting active enrolments will be communicated at least fourteen days before taking effect. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of updated Terms for future sessions. The « Last updated » date indicates the most recent revision.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.
